What's the name of the shop? Thanks! --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: James Grieco <jamesgrieco@yahoo.com> Gary, if you are looking for foam core material there are two types that I am aware of: DIVINYCELL is a lower temp rigid foam that can be formed to contour at 212deg F. It can be obtained from Barracuda Technologies, Inc, Desoto, Texas. Cage code 6H140 ROHACELL is a higer temp rigid foam that can be formed to contour at 400deg F. It can be obtained from Richmond Aircraft Products in Norwalk, Ca. Cage code 66442. If you are using the fiberglass the Divinycell would probably be ideal at the 250deg F cure range. Another option is Nomex flex-core from HEXCEL corp. they have regular honeycomb cell types, as well as over-expanded cell shapes like HRH-10. This will take a complex shape very well with little bagging pressure. I hope this helps. __________________________________ Y! Messenger - Communicate in real time. Download now.

I had a plane touched up many years ago. I saw the plane in Baraboo, WI and it still looked great. I think the name of the place is Kracon or something like that.

    Subject: Trip to Auburn
--> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: TeamGrumman@aol.com As many of you already know, I've been rying to relocate to Auburn, CA for a long time. Actually, I first decided I like Auburn in the summer of 93. Anyway, I sent a letter of intent to the airport manager in August 03 and was told they would be building new hangars in April 04. That didn't happen. THen, in May 04, I was told they were acquiring a section of the airport that had been privately owned and that there was a hangar on that section that I could use until I could build. They acquired the land in June. Then, I was told the guy in the hangar (who is using it as a body shop) would be evicted and that I could have the hangar by September. Then, after Baraboo, I flew to Auburn, rented and apartment with Buzz (my best friend for the last 42 years) and talked to the airport manager who told me I needed a letter of intent for this hangar. So, I sent him a letter of intent. Then I went to Auburn on 30 July and was told he still hadn't notified the people in the auto body shop they had to leave. He said he'd do it that day and that it would be 90 days. Or November 1, 2004. I still haven't heard from the Auburn airport manager regarding the eviction or if he even sent a letter. I've called 3 times and no reply. Keep your fingers crossed.

--> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: Bob Milligan <flyer.bob@verizon.net> Gary, I don't know how effective crossed fingers are, but I do hope you realize your dream soon. I recall your avowed intent to make that move before I even bought the Cheetah in 2000. BUT, from a selfish point of view, I had hoped to have you install my overlay, eyebrow and perhaps a new windshield before you leave So. Cal.
