    Subject: slag vs CHT
    --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: TeamGrumman@aol.com just a quick note before I head to work. I removed some slag from between the fins on a Tiger with really hot #4 and #3 cylinders. Since he told me #4 was the hottest, I removed the most from taht one. The owner reported a 30 degree DECREASE in CHT on #4 and a 20 degree DECREASE on #3 CHT on the flight home with an outside air temp in the high 90s.
