I removed some slag from between the fins on a Tiger with really hot #4 and #3 cylinders. Since he told me #4 was the hottest, I removed the most from taht one. The owner reported a 30 degree DECREASE in CHT on #4 and a 20 degree DECREASE on #3 CHT on the flight home with an outside air temp in the high 90s. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 07:31:24 PM PST US From: Gil Alexander Subject: Re: TeamGrumman-List: slag vs CHT --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: Gil Alexander Gary.... what tools did you use? needle files? gil A At 08:25 AM 8/16/2004, you wrote: >--> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: TeamGrumman@aol.com > >just a quick note before I head to work.
