The EGT spread was, and still is, in the 50-90 degree range. After cleaning out the flashing and experimenting with with various baffles, I've managed to get the CHT's within 5-7 degrees in cruise. Cyls 1 and 3 still get real hot in climb, but, once leveled out, they all settle into the 405 degree range (OAT of 70-80). EGTs in cruise, with the exception of #2, are within 10 degrees. #2 is always cooler by up to 90 degrees. I've tried various throttle, mixture, and carb heat combinations to see if I can even out the EGTs. Nope. I can get the EGTs down to 1250 range, but, the spread still isn't that close.
