The load had to be dumped somewhere during the beacon "off" time. You can remove everything related to it. It enables the flash to "flash" when only one bulb is connected to the supply. If two bulbe are used, the second bulb takes the place of the resistor. The resistor is part of an R-C circuit. ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 09:15:12 AM PST US From: TeamGrumman@AOL.COM Subject: Re: TeamGrumman-List: Resistor bar... --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: TeamGrumman@aol.com In a message dated 10/18/04 9:01:50 AM, GOLDPILOT@AOL.COM writes: > That resistor is necessary for the Aeroflash power supply to work=A0 > properly.=A0 > It enables the flash to "flash" when only one bulb is connected=A0 to the > supply.=A0 If two bulbe are used, the second bulb takes the place of=A0 the > resistor.=A0 > The resistor is part of an R-C=A0 circuit. > yea, like he said ________________________________ Message 5 _____________________________________ Time: 11:11:56 PM PST US From: "Steven Jackson" Subject: RE: TeamGrumman-List: Replacing Aeroflash (and Detroit) with Whelen --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: "Steven Jackson" You got a deal.
