Bet it looks pretty! One of the hardest things I have to do when I
paint is to wait (for me, I do 1/2 hour) betwen coats and when it's got
3 (or however many) coats to QUIT! I hate to just pour that expensive
paint into a jug and waste it instead of 'just a little more here and
there'. I feel your pain! Keep up the good work .... and post some
pics when you get a chance.

No pics yet. I spent the entire day sanding and prepping to paint. It has
taken about 6-10 hours of prep for each hour of painting. I made a stand
for painting the cowling sides today. The final prep amounts to masking and
getting the paint booth ready. I should be painting by noon.

PS, I lucked out on the upper cowling. I mixed up exactly the right amount
for 3 complete coats of the jet Glow. That hasn't ever happened before.
Painting the inlets and exit ramps in place without runs is going to be
interesting.
