Next step is the FAA. Last weekend I went flying and blew out the end cap on the muffler. Stuff happens. Anyway, it cooked the paint a little yellow/brown. Fortunately, Dave's concerns (he's my composite guy) about the effects of heating the cowling in the area of the muffler and having it deform the fiberglass has been successfully tested and it passes the test. Rather than replace the muffler, I ordered the new powerflow. Wish me luck.
