For those of you on TeamGrumman-List, ...
I need about $10,000 to finish the STC. Now it's time to pay the DER.
I will start taking deposits on the first 5 cowlings. The first five will
sell for $6,000. That's a bargain.
So, the first five buyers with $2,000 deposit will get the first 5 cowlings.
Keep in mind that doesn't include, baffles, or paint or any finishing.
Hopefully, baffles, and paint won't run over $1000. I'll include installation
on the first 5.
Oh, and, by-the-way, if you want it hinged, that adds about 10 hours ($700)
of labor to the fitting and finishing of the upper cowling. Plus, you need to
supply a hinge. (Unless you want to trash your old upper cowling, you'll
need a new hinge.)
