This is the K&N E1000 air filter. It costs $29.99 at your local auto parts
distributor. The only problem is, it doesn't have the little white circle
with the letters FAA PMA inside it. Other than that, it's the same filter.

Thanks Neita, Four years ago I did an inspection on a Tiger that was so bad
that I found 119 discrepancies, 90 of which would ground the plane. The
owner bragged that he'd never paid more than $500 for an annual in 10 years.
I
told a friend of mine in the FAA the name of the mechanic who had been doing
those inspections for that 10 years. The FAA knew about him. He'd been
warned (by the FAA, that they were watching him) before, but, no one could prove
anything. That mechanic moved to Arizona.
