Corrected? Maybe not the best word!!!! I'm still curious.

Well, the burping disappeared ...... but nothing was changed except the
weather! After the last 'burping' flight, the airplane just sat in the
hangar 'till the weekend. I wanted the owner to switch one mag off at a
time but he was uncomfortable doing that enroute. So, last weekend when
we flew (I wasn't the co-pilot that day ..... took the Traumahawk) the
weather was cooler and drier ..... and the problem did not occur. This
morning I was the co-pilot, and could not get anything resembling the
burp. Tried different power settings and leaning ...... but no burp.
Again a little cooler ambient temp, but the humidity was on the high side.
One 'observation' by the owner was that the burping occurred on the
outbound leg but not the return trip ...... but I wonder if that's
really an accurate statement. We're waiting for the burping to return
so we can troubleshoot again. Hard to fix it if it ain't broke. :-P
'Tis a puzzlement!!! (said the King)
