Any sign of my cylinders yet from Lycon Gary? Not that I'm trying to rush you. I have too much to live for with a wife and dog now;) Jamey -----Original Message----- From: owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of TeamGrumman@aol.com Sent: Monday, February 13, 2006 12:46 AM Subject: Re: TeamGrumman-List: Re: Cowling Update --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: TeamGrumman@aol.com In a message dated 2/12/06 11:56:37 PM, aired@frontiernet.net writes: > Tell us more about these wingtips. --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: "James Courtney" <jamey@jamescourtney.net> You couldn't convince him we were testing it for him;) Seriously, that's great news and very gentlemanly of him. Please let me (and Dan) know how the guts look. What do you think about my question about cutting open the filter and straining the oil when we drain it to make extra sure no valve bits got by the piston? Is it worth it or are the clean cylinder walls and unmarred piston rings evidence enough? I hope you had a good weekend. If they were small, they went on through. I will cut open your filter. I don't expect to see anything. Gary
