UFlyMike.com --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: Corl Leach If you're looking for a good quality ANR headset that works, try out this combination unit created by Mike Lackey: http://www.uflymike.com By combining the ANR capability and comfort of the Bose QC2 headset with an aviation-grade microphone adapter you get an extremely lightweight and comfortable unit. You have to buy the headset from Bose of some other source (I recommend buying from http:// www.Crutchfield.com as Bill Crutchfield is a great supporter of GA and a pilot himself!) then add Mike's adapter. I've used Mike's setup for about 2 years now with zero problems! It's easy to put together, stores in a small space with the included case. Best of all, when I'm out of the airplane the headset can be used with audio source or just as a noise reduction device. Oh, the UFlyMike adapter does have an auxiliary input to allow simultaneous listening to the aircraft radios and something else, if that's your thing, (Passengers really like this feature since they still have access to the intercom conversations but each one can chose their own entertainment.) Mike has developed both mono- and stereo- versions plus a selectable impedance to allow moving between different planes. -- Corl Leach Disclaimer: Yes, Mike is a friend of mine. No, I don't get paid to support his product. I do so because it works! ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 12:42:51 PM PST US From: FLYaDIVE@aol.com Subject: TeamGrumman-List: GG Down for AOL users! --> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: FLYaDIVE@aol.com Hi Team: I was just wondering what the status is for the GG and Mark's service? I have tried a few times to access but each time I have to go back to the web page and submit my subscription. Has any AOL customer been able to receive GG emails and maintain a solid connection? I called AOL and they were of no help. Also - you should stop and check on the condition of the plane after a hard landing such as that. 9) A bunch of other things which got deleted by my filters probably happened. Hope that helps! matt d do not archive (it is not remotely important enough to waste the archive disk space) FLYaDIVE@aol.com wrote: >--> TeamGrumman-List message posted by: FLYaDIVE@aol.com > >Hi Team: > >I was just wondering what the status is for the GG and Mark's service?
