If it gets to 220 F I would do something to reduce it or keep it from getting any higher. But 245 F is the max redline oil temp. At 80=20 OAT, the oil temp was around 220. It was a new engine so I suspect it will= get=20 better. On my Tiger, I normally see 190 for a max temp. =20 Anything in the over 180 and under 200 range (i.e., 180 < Oil Temp < 200 )= =20 is acceptable. If the oil temp gets much higher, keep it rich, and, if=20 necessary, reduce power. =20 I strongly recommend the larger oil cooler for the Cheetah/Traveler. =20 Gary
