    Subject: Voltage Regulator Advice?
Last year I installed a Zeftronics solid state voltage regulator in my AA-5B. It has lasted all of 163 hrs in service before failing. Any recommendations for a longer lasting replacement? Thanks, Norm Harney N28718 _____________________________________________________________ Get email for your site ---> http://www.everyone.net

I've been using Zeftronics R15V00 regulators for years and never had a failure. I'd look for something else in the electrical system for that's causing the failure. As a kid, whenever I replaced a voltage regulator on a car, I got into the habit of replacing the alternator as well. Whenever I replace an alternator on a plane, I always replace the regulator now. -----Original Message----- From: nharney@nharney.com Sent: Wed, 28 Feb 2007 7:09 AM Subject: TeamGrumman-List: Voltage Regulator Advice? <nharney@nharney.com> Last year I installed a Zeftronics solid state voltage regulator in my AA-5B.
