I'm happy to leave the plane for approximately a month, but I use it to commute between Maryland and Florida and don't want to ride the airlines for much more than that. Completing the annual inspection at the same time will help minimize total down time. -Brian >From: TeamGrumman-List Digest Server >> >My guess is, I'll get the first of the production cowlings in about a >month. > >If you can bring the plane up and leave it for a month or so once I get >the parts, that would be awesome. > >Gary > ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 10:10:36 PM PST US Subject: Re: TeamGrumman-List: Cowl Install Schedule From: teamgrumman@aol.com Hey Brian, good talking to you. I talked to Dave and he seems to think he can have the parts ready in about 2 weeks. It'll be fun to fit the cowling to your plane again. This one has a few different things. Does your plane have the shocks? I think it does. I guess we'll see if the cowling fits the shocks. I took the shocks off my plane. The last part to get the tooling made is the landing light. Right now, the landing light housings are being hand made - free hand. I'm fairly certain the white paint can be matched, no problem. I'm confident that Jeff can match the blue. Do you have any pics?
