It looks like the lightning strike issue has been resolved. I'll know more in a week or two. The FAA flight tests on the stock plane are completed and approved. The Power Flow didn't heat the carb heat the required 90 degreed rise at 10,000 feet. (we got 86) so, I need to investigate the locating of the probe. Next step is to get my new cowling on the plane and redo all of the tests. ________________________________________________________________________ Email and AIM finally together. Gary... how about a little stainless steel wool around the tubes in the PowerFlow "box" to improve the heat transfer? The ins and outs on my PowerFlow are also not very well sealed in the "box"... gil A At 10:41 AM 9/30/2007, you wrote: > >It looks like the lightning strike issue has been resolved. What do you mean "resolved"? Did the FAA or the DER decide it wasn't necessary and if so, why?
