Why not save weight and go to this FAA/PMA battery (for a Piper)?
http://www.odysseybatteries.com/applications/aircraft.htm
Comes with a FAA approved (for a Piper) hold down....

Sealed batteries, no mess, lighter weight... have already been
through the FAA stuff....:^)

Preferably made of aluminum. =C2-I have no experience with battery boxes f
or anything but the Grummans. =C2-I have seen John Coze's battery box but
I don't recall what it looked like. =C2-I don't know what it came out of.
=C2-I have seen a battery box in a Comanche, but again, I don't remember w
hat it looked like.
