Fletcher should have certified the prop with a 63=22 pitch as well as the 61=22
pitch.

With porting and polish on new Lycoming cylinders, the O320 dynoed at 175
hp before leaning. Leaned at near sea-level, it went to 188 hp. As flown
, it had a Power Flow and a 61 inch pitch Sensenich prop. I wonder how it
will fly when the engine gets broken in.

Very impressive!!! What mods were done to the engine=3F I have been curious
about the performance of a cheetah with a few modifications.

ver 2400 rpm, leaned.
Yesterday was the first flight. Climbed at 1500 fpm at 92 knots right
from take-o ff (1536 feet) to 4500 feet. Straight and level at 4500 feet i
t easily ran over red-line. Too easily. Needs at least 2 inches more pitc
h. Flew to Lancaster pushing a 20 to 30 knot headwind all the way. Two ho
urs into the return flight, I took it to 12,000 feet, turned red-line and t
hen some, easily. Needs more prop.
Complete instrument panel upgrade. 2 430s, 340 audio panel and a 327 t
ransponder. JPI EDM 700. Digital tach. Mitchell gauges, AuCountry eyebro
w, Nu-Lites.
Paint and interior and this is as good or better than new.
