When I worked as a research scientist at the AFRPL... the original name, I w orked with researchers at UDRI (University of Dayton Research Institute for those wondering). =C2-I've been the the museum several times. =C2-That w as in the mid-late 80s. =C2-A lot has probably changes since then.=C2- I also worked with researchers at Penn State, Univ of Illinois, Urbana-Champ aign, Univ of Utah, MIT, CalTec, UCLA, USC, Navel Post Graduate School, Lock heed Martin, UTSI, . . . . =C2-Hell, I don't remember them all. =C2-I al so worked with Dr Price from Univ of Georgia on scramjets. =C2-We did a fe w scramjet studies. =C2-Not many. =C2- At Edwards, I was a propulsion engineer on F-16s P&W engines. =C2-I saw th e a few engine runs on the F119 at P&W Florida. =C2- After all of that,I wouldn't give up working on the little Grummans. =C2-P lus, if I need something, I don't need to go through 6 months of requests. =C2-No morning meetings either.
