I'm amazed at how many emails I've received asking if the panels will fit AA
1s. =C2-
Is it that NOT well known that the four-seaters were derived from the 2-seat
er? =C2-
The cabin widths are the same. =C2-The instrument panels are the same.
How many know that the empennage, from the seam on the honeycomb cabin to th
e tail of the plane, is exactly the same length on both planes? =C2-

Now, this IS news to me. Would replacing a -5 rear fuselage with a -1
rear fuselage be considered a reasonalbe repair or is there a difference
in tail feathers that preclude the swap???
Linn .... don't know why this is relevant!!! :-P

Having owned my AA-1B for 27 years, and an AA-1A, and having time in AA-5's, yes
I know that one.? Glad American chose the AA-5 linage over the AA-2 (sorry Roscoe),
as this has increased the parts availability to the AA-1 fleet.
