I found this: http://www.flightsimaviation.com/data/FARS/part_91-205.html John 704-595-2226 ________________________________ From: owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of teamgrumman@aol.com Sent: Monday, February 02, 2009 9:36 PM Subject: Re: TeamGrumman-List: Re: TeamGrumman-List Digest: 1 Msgs - 01/31/09 I've been hearing about this regulation for years. Especially after I installed a flat, one-piece panel in a Tiger and the DAR asked if it met the requirements of 'an AC.' I've been looking into trying a few different ideas for an instrument panel so the topic came up again. I've tried few times, off and on, to find it. No luck. This time I thought, "why not ask all the brains out there who are always referring to 'Regulation this' and 'Regulation that.' I'm surprised no one knows what it is. Please keep looking and let me know if you have any luck, thanks Gary -----Original Message----- From: Steve Roberts <aa1bflyboy@msn.com> Sent: Mon, 2 Feb 2009 6:26 am Subject: RE: TeamGrumman-List: Re: TeamGrumman-List Digest: 1 Msgs - 01/31/09 I believe there are regs for the six pack. Thanks John. =C2-I mentioned this to a DAR and told him there is no specif ication as to where these instruments had to be. =C2-He said, and I quote, "There is an Advisory Circular that recommends a panel layout for flight in struments for IFR flight. =C2-Any deviation from that would require a fiel d approval." =C2-He couldn't recite the AC. =C2-I can't find one.=C2- =C2-Could it be that the preferred 6-pack arrangement has never been spell ed out? -----Original Message----- From: Hosler, John <JHOSLER@epri.com> Sent: Tue, 3 Feb 2009 6:48 am Subject: RE: TeamGrumman-List: Re: TeamGrumman-List Digest: 1 Msgs - 01/31/0 9 I found this: http://www.flightsimaviation.com/data/FARS/part_91-205.html =C2- John 704-595-2226 =C2- From: owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of teamgrumman@aol.com Sent: Monday, February 02, 2009 9:36 PM Subject: Re: TeamGrumman-List: Re: TeamGrumman-List Digest: 1 Msgs - 01/31/09 I've been hearing about this regulation for years. =C2-Especially after I installed a flat, one-piece panel in a Tiger and the DAR asked if it met the requirements of 'an AC.' =C2-I've been looking into trying a few diffe rent ideas for an instrument panel so the topic came up again. =C2-I've tried f ew times, off and on, to find it. =C2-No luck. =C2-This time I thought, "wh y not ask all the brains out there who are always referring to 'Regulation this' and=C2-'Regulation that.'=C2-=C2- I'm surprised no one knows what it i s.
