    Just out of curiosity, I did some compression test comparisons using a dynam ic compression tester. =C2-You know, the kind of tester 'engine' guys use to determine the health of cylinders. =C2- On a ported and polished, high compression, O320-E2G LyCon engine with 55 ho urs on it,=C2- 79/80 =C2- =C2------ > 145 lbs 79/80 =C2- =C2------ > 145 lbs 79/80 =C2- =C2------ > 145 lbs 79/80 =C2- =C2------ > 140 lbs On a stock O320-E2G with 1200 hours on it 76/80 =C2- =C2------ > 100 lbs 77/80 =C2- =C2------ > 100 lbs 77/80 =C2- =C2------ > 100 lbs 78/80 =C2- =C2------ > 110 lbs Now I need to look at my engine.

Not surprising with the better breathing engine and the higher compression ratio. I doubt if very much of the difference is due to the lower differen tial compression numbers.
