Link gave me: "Video not available in your region". (Didn't know that the internet could discriminate like that.) Read this week that aluminum block with no cylinder liners is being tried gain; another etching process it seems. Don't recall the make/model (but, I certainly won't be buying it.) Somehow, I doubt we would hear about 'real' dreams on the GG! When I was a kid I had a Vega with the original 4 cylinder aluminum cylinders. It burned a qt oil every 100 miles and helped to keep the mosquito population down with it's smoke trail.... Weeird dream Gary;)

The technology used by General Motors for the Vega engine was used successfully by Porche for years before being adopted by GM. The average car owner lacked the knowledge (or instruction) of how important antifreeze is to the prevention of corrosion in the block. -----Original Message----- From: Mike Lehman <lehmans@3web.com> Sent: Sat, Jun 13, 2009 5:08 am Subject: TeamGrumman-List: RE: TeamGrumman-List Digest: 4 Msgs - 06/12/09 Link gave me: "Video not available in your region".
