You may see things such as 13 V to 11.8 V. It will vary due to Time after a change and Temperature. Check the Specific Gravity (SG) of the electrolyte. And remember a aircraft battery has a higher SG than a auto battery AND you also need to check the Temperature when taking a reading. I know, I know, checking the electrolyte is a dirty PITA. So, spend about $65 and get a digital Load Meter that will give you Volts, Internal Resistance and % of power in relation to the AH or CCA rating. Barry PS A fully charged Gill G25 is ALWAYS ready for the garbage. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:54:44 AM PST US Subject: RE: TeamGrumman-List: Battery Charge Voltage From: "Hosler, John" Or get a sealed Concorde battery and solve the problem. ________________________________ From: owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-teamgrumman-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of FLYaDIVE Sent: Thursday, November 04, 2010 8:35 AM Subject: Re: TeamGrumman-List: Battery Charge Voltage Scott: Not a good or reliable number.
