Subject: | cylinder break in |
Hi all,
Lycoming Service Instruction 1427B indicates that you should "After
establishing cruise altitude, reduce power to approximately 75% and
continue flight for 2 hours. For the second hour, alternate power
settings between 65% and 75% power per operators manual."
Can anyone point me at a chart that tells me what RPM is equal to 65%
and 75% power for a Grumman AA1B with an O-235-C2C, presuming a standard
temperature and pressure day, at 3000 feet and at 5000 feet altitude?
Thanks,
-Dj
