Also, the exhaust riser clamp is broken. Good luck getting the nut off
the bolt. Hopefully it will break easily or you will have to cut it off.
Looks like a lot of deferred maintenance for a long time!

The idea has some merit. Even splitting the boot part way back from the
strut, enough so you could easily pull it down to the fairing and around
the strut V-fairing would help getting the cowl on and off. You could
glue and sew two pieces of Velcro on to the rubber possibly, or maybe a
couple of snaps.
