I should have an idea of what the costs will be. Dave gave me the invoice for fabricating 3 cowlings. WOW. If I had to pay the going rate at a shop like Fiberset, fabricating these cowling would have cost almost $12,000 each! It's a good thing we have a deal . . . that's all I can say. I got the invoice from the metal fabricator too. $1230/set. Low production runs don't make money. I've been thinking about it and between now and when I get back from the Philippines on May 15th, I'll sell the cowlings for $6250 with the baffles. That's about $5000 for the cowling. Killer deal. Those that have a check to me by May 15th can have one at that price.
