Yes, it should be purple. -The sealant was applied so hap-hazardly, that
there is no way it could seal. -I was very difficult to remove too.=0A=0A

We ought to have a list of do nots someplace to direct new Grumman owners t
o.- One of the first ones on that list are do not use any other type seal
ant on the oval fuel tank inspection covers than the purple stuff Garner wi
ll send you from Fletchair.- You will often see the fuel tank sealant ref
erred to as high adhesion and the cover sealant referred to as low adhesion
