Just an update.
As of today, I have 3 cowlings sold, to be installed here in Auburn, for
$11,000. This is a savings of $2500 to $3000 over what the price will be on
orders after December 1, 2012.
The new price as of Dec 1st still doesn't cover my cost on the baffles.
But, it's a start.
I'm thinking of offering an additional discount if I can get deposits for
a total of 6 cowlings by December 1st to be installed in Auburn.

Hi Gary
I just got home and would like to ask If ok with you lets make it tomorrow
and you can show the group the cuff at same time. Good news is I have a
couple of new accounts that may get me up to a new cowling by the end of
November. But in the meantime if necessary I love the cuff so much I would
pay for it and just keep flying with it with no one the wiser.\ approved or
no. As said before it really works considering how simple it is.
Thanks and see you tomorrow.

They aren't cheap. Essex Manufacturing quoted me back in 2007 on the primer
s. If I was to purchase a minimum of 5-9=2C they would sell them to us for
920.12 each. Not kidding=2C I still have the quote tacked to my office wall
. It does get better=2C 10-24 quantity=2C I can have them built for only 52
