I need some help, at Petaluma last weekend for our fly in I was introduced
to a new App for the I Phone called weathermeister, but have been unable to
find it in the app store. If you could direct me to the right spelling I
would love to add this great app because it had some great features.
Thanks

I do not think it is an APP, I know it to be a web site - A very good
weather website. I use it myself.
Here is the link:
http://www.weathermeister.com
One of the very good features of the site is, it lets you configure the way
you want he WX info to appear.

Gary,
This is my first post and I am a relatively new user, so I am probably
asking for information that is old hat to some! I have a 1977 Tiger that
needs complete restoration. I understand you have started a IO-360, ported
and polished, project. How is that coming along? Are there any 200 HP
engines available that do NOT have angle valves? When I spoke to the True
Flight representative at Oshkosh, he mentioned that the factory was doing a
200 HP STC for the Tiger. Has anyone else heard this and how is that STC
coming along? If I have to do an engine swap on my Tiger, I want to get a
clear picture of what my engine choices are!! Thanks for any info you can
provide!

Gary,
Is there an STC out there that allows installation of the IO360-B1G6 or will
you have to go thru the STC process once you get the engine ready?

Hi Ken,
There are several 200 hp Cheetahs/Tigers out there. The STC for one of the
installations is somewhere. Bob Steward has more knowledge of that than I

That said, I wouldn't do a 200 hp installation. The engine is 40 lbs

A ported and polished O360 will make 205 to 215 hp. The engine I put in

My engine is nearly ready to install. I'm just waiting for it. The plane

Bill:
Spend a little time working the site - As I mentioned there is a means of
setting up how you want the WX to be displayed. Truly a great set-up.
The only issue I reported back to the site owner is the roll-over display
of distances between airports. It is incorrect. Example: If you fly a
triangle course the INDIVIDUAL distances are from the origin airport to
each of the other airports... It does NOT give you the distance between 'B'
to 'C'.
They will look into the possibility of showing all distances. YET! The
full triangle distance between all airports is given on a different page.

Hello ,
=C2-Just to explain a little, it's the fourth Tiger I have owned in 37 ye
ars of flying,=C2-and is the best I have had so far. We installed a New G
TN 750 and hard-wired a 796 with WX, as well as installing Autopilot disc s
w and other switches on a fashioned plate attached to Tiger yokes. Did othe
r things too. Our personal circumstances dictate=C2- we sell it now, howe
ver, sadly.
