    I don't think it's UV. The fuel tank filler opening placards on my plane are black on white P-Touch labels and the print did not fade after being tied down outside since last February. Don't know about engine compartment heat, but they probably also saw well over 100 degrees F from the direct sun for many hours during the summer heat on days when my tanks were low in fuel.     I have been doing business with LyCon since 1999. -I've been trying to ge t my engine for over a year now. -I'm not sure if I'd recommend them for an engine. -=0A=0AI have a customer that will need an engine in 6 months to a year. -I don't want the aggravation of dealing with a company that d oesn't return calls or emails.=0A=0AAny suggestions on who builds a good pe rformance engine?=0A=0AGary

    Yeah, Gary Vogt. You should get into that. Sounds like plenty of room for competition There's a guy that does flow porting and valve jobs near Denver. He is reaso nable. Just run your new cylinders out thru him and assemble the engine your self. The Lyc is as simple as a VW simpler than a Corvair as you know.
