HELP! ! ! ! ! !=0A=0AI am trying to remove the oil drain from the sump on a
n O360. -It was leaking and I needed to change it. -=0A=0AProblem is, I
T's STUCK.=0A=0A1) Started with an open end wrench (the old style drain won
't let a box end get to the hex.)=0A- - that quickly stripped off the h
ex.=0A2) Went to vise grips. -After trying increasingly tighter clamping
forces, I only succeeded=0A- ---in rounding (grinding)-away the s
hape until it was smaller and round.=0A3) Tried heating it with a MAPP torc
h until it glowed. -Then the vise grips. -Nothing.=0A4) Tried a pipe wr
ench. -After trying increasingly tighter clamping forces, I only succeede

pe wrench. -Nothing.=0A- ----- each time I only managed to grind more
off.=0A6) By now, it's mangled and thin.=0A7) Tried the vise grips again a
nd the casing tore off leaving only about 1/4 inch at the top=0A- - wit
h the valve stem sticking out.=0A=0ANow what?=0A=0AGary=0A
