I had an over temp on my 3rd gen iPad a while back so I thought I would figu
re a way to cool it down. I noticed the hole that is already cut in the RAM i
Pad mount in the shape of an Apple. I found a 12volt 40mm CPU fan that snaps
right into that hole. I then cut 2 more holes (37mm) with a hole cutter and
installed two more fans. The 3 fans move a lot of air over the back of the i
Pad. I made a harness using an old cigar power adaptor. Works pretty good. N
o over temp warnings yet using these fans.

That's a very creative solution. Good job, and thanks for sharing.

That's one heck of a corrosion prevention process. I don't think many other
s go to that extent.

ide. The white is such high contrast that it will look worn because the sur
face rust will show more than if it was black. The paint will be damaged th
e first time the strut is serviced. Everything is so clean and new looking,
that it would be a shame to see the rust around the bolts after the strut i
s serviced. It's good to see another clean firewall on an old plane.
