The video advertisement below the poll is targeted. There is huge database o
f IPs, Mac addresses, google searches etc. the website will also poll your c
ookies and find out where you surf. Then with a big nasty algorithm it deter
mines from the list of paying advertisers which add you would be most recept
ive to. It will be different for different people. The fact that Bob found i
t so entertaining is a testament to how accurate, effective, and a little cr
eepy targeted advertising is. It is awesome for the advertiser however.
