Subject: | Garmin avionics stack for sale |
I've decided to sell my complete Garmin stack
340 audio panel
430 WAAS
430 non WAAS
327 transponder
With harness, trays, antennas, CBs, grounds, head phone jacks, everything for a
complete installation. My avionics guy says it's worth about $17,500.
I'll sell the whole "plug-n-play" setup for $15,000.

Gary,
I remember you were required to do carb heat tests during the Jaguar cowl STC process.
I'm curious if you got a feel for how much of the RPM drop is due to heat
vs restriction of airflow?
I think you had trouble getting even the factory muffler to pass the carb heat
requirements on a hot day. Even harder for the Powerflow...
My second question is whether closing out the Powerflow heat box would help increase
heat? Or restrict airflow too much?
Powerflow is open ended right next to the carb heat inlet allowing air outside
the heat muff lower to mix in.

Power Flow should give options for mounts. The way they mount on a Mooney mi
ght work on a Tiger.

Is that a standard system for a Mooney or was it modified?
The weld looks different.

Gary, Is the owner going back to massive plugs and why if so? I thought
fine wires were supposed to be the best.

I have 16 RHM38S fine wire plugs. 8 of them are only a few months old. 8
of them have about 400 hours on them and look pretty nice. I need to
sell all of them. Owner wants $1200 for all of them. I told him be
happy at $1000. These have the larger caps on them. Takes a 7/8 inch
wrench.
Let me know.

Barry,
I just pulled the photo from Power Flow's website. It's from their product p
age for O-360 M20
http://www.powerflowsystems.com/products.php?cat_id=5&pid=26
So I assume its a standard part of their kit

You might have to break it up to sell it fast. A lot of people my be looking for
a 430, but already have an installed audio panel etc. if you decide to sell
individual components, I am interested in your transponder .

I just picked up my Tiger with a new Garmin stack. Eliminated the vacuum
system completely, but I just couldn't get by without one round dial left
over!!! This pic shows the new number, but right now I still operate with
N28546. Work was done by Santa Fe Aero Services.
