Gary, What I meant about the picture with the flaps down is that the flap
angle looked like it was a lot lower than the typical Grumman. I do like
your tip about leaving the flaps down on the ground. It would make it easier
to reach the step and less chance of accidentally damaging the flaps. I
wonder if this is the same reason I see almost all the RV's with their flaps
down in the ramp area.
Best Regards,

I always leave the flaps down. Accidentally stepping on one is very
expensive. Once you get used to not needing to avoid stepping on the flap
when you get in and out, you'll find it makes a lot of sense.

Gary, this picture makes the flaps look like they are lower than normal. Is
that just the camera angle?

It's done.
Indicated: 135 knots
OAT: 70F
Altitude: 3000 feet.
TAS: 148 knots
Note: mechanical tach showed about 2750. Hard to say what it really is.

Gary,
I noticed also the fairing around the strut versus the rubber boot.
Is that something you designed and sell?

Thank you

The fairing is part of the cowling. -I do make them and if my DER ever ge
