So. Remember the Traveler I was trying to sell for $32,000? That included a Power Flow Exhaust ($4,000), LoPresti nose bowl ($5,000), fresh paint ($8,000), and a newly overhauled LyCon engine with ALL the trick stuff like =9CO=9D ringed case, new cylinders (ported and polished), and lots of other stuff ($24,000). No takers. So. I sold the Power Flow and dropped the price to $28,000. So. That=99s is essentially a free plane with new paint for the price of the LoPresti nose bowl and engine. No takers. So. I tried to sell the nose bowl. No takers. So. I tried to sell the engine several times. I thought I had it sold for a while. The guy even has an engine with 2400+ hours on his O-320. Even though this new O320 is a great deal and he won=99t have to wait for a overhaul and he can be flying in a few days . . . . ??? No takers. So. Thinking that maybe the project is too difficult for any wannabe buyers, I thought I=99d put it partially back together and offer it at progressively higher prices until it=99s flyable; then the price will be for a finished plane with a fresh annual, all new hardware. So. The tail feathers are on; all new hardware. I even corrected the slop in one elevator bolt by going 1/2 size larger on the bolt. It=99 ll be rigged by this weekend. It=99ll have new batteries in the ELT. The elevator trim and all controls will be disassemble, lead, inspected, lubed, and put back together. The tail cone will be installed. The ELT covers installed. The annual inspection of the empennage will be finished. So. The asking price is currently $29,500. You finish the plane. So. The next step is to take the interior apart, clean it up, remove the side panels and fix them, put the seats back in, strip and repaint the spar in situ. Let me know if you=99re interested Gary
