| Subject: | Factory Overhauled O360-A4K |
Long story. Short version.
Good news: One of my customers had ordered a factory overhauled engine last November.
He put a $15,000 deposit on it (to be sent LyCon for port-n-polish, "O"
ringed case, blah, blah, blah. The whole nine yards.
Bad news: He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January and has had 6 operations
since then. He isn't doing well.
At this point, the best next-step is to sell this engine and wait and see what
needs to be done in the future. Ken (LyCon) called and said he needs the balance
of the money for the engine since it was shipped from Lycoming.
If you need a new engine, I have one, no waiting.

I just heard yesterday that the convention is at my local airport this
year (KBXM). Maine is an absolutely gorgeous place to be in the summer
time. One of my favorite flights is to take off from Brunswick and fly
up the coast to Rockland and back.
