That makes sense and is what Ken demonstrated at his wrench bending weekend in Phoenix. So just get a roll of white felt and apply it at the back edge of the canopy. Do you have reccomendations based on experience for width and thickness for the best seal?

Thanks for the info Discover: I have always used Wool Weather Stripping from the Aviation Aisle at Lowes. It does not have the self-stick backing so you then have to move down to the Aviation Floor Covering Aisle and pick up Double Sided Carpet Tape. Get the one that has the fiber reinforcement, it is stronger and easier to work with. The job can be done without removing the canopy. And the carpet tape allows for total coverage of the area. The NON-Sticky Backed wool weather striping is much more flexible for side-to-side adjustments when placing it down. I mention this because the canopy has compound curves that must be matched for a flat lay-up. This is what I have found to be the Least Expensive and Easiest to do. McMaster Carr is a great company for the hard to find items, but they CHARGE for their convenience.
