Hi All! I am buying a T-Bird, my first plane. I had it inspected, and it is in
pretty good shape, and the fabric is still good. There is a 10 inch tear near
the wingtip tho, in the dacron. How would I go about fixing this? Assume I know
nothing about fixing dacron, and you would be right. Anyone got an info resource
on patching dacron? Would a patch use an adhesive, be sewn, or both? Thanks!

Hi everyone,
I would like to introduce myself to this group. I am an aeronautical engineer,
pilot, airplane homebuilder and writer. I have written 3 new books for airplane
homebuilders, which you can check out on my web page www.caroengineering.com.
They are mainly for airplane homebuilders, but should be of interest to anyone
who wants to install engines, work with composites or flight test an airplane.
Cheers,
Sonja Englert
