Erik, I not sure what type of Dacron the T-Bird has, ( have none over here
that I have seen) but if it is like a sailing boat sail cloth you would sew
a patch on it. Take it to a sail maker if you have one need you and I think
he could advise you

Hi All! I am buying a T-Bird, my first plane. I had it inspected, and it is
in pretty good shape, and the fabric is still good. There is a 10 inch tear
near the wingtip tho, in the dacron. How would I go about fixing this?
Assume I know nothing about fixing dacron, and you would be right. Anyone
got an info resource on patching dacron? Would a patch use an adhesive, be
sewn, or both? Thanks!
