Take it to a sail maker if you have one need you and I think he could advise you Regards Ross (Caboolture Queensland Australia) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Erik Allred" Subject: Ultralight-List: newbie question --> Ultralight-List message posted by: "Erik Allred" Hi All! I am buying a T-Bird, my first plane. I had it inspected, and it is in pretty good shape, and the fabric is still good. There is a 10 inch tear near the wingtip tho, in the dacron. How would I go about fixing this? Assume I know nothing about fixing dacron, and you would be right. Anyone got an info resource on patching dacron? Would a patch use an adhesive, be sewn, or both? Thanks!
