Subject: Where to fly, clubs in the San Jose, California area?
Where to fly, clubs in the San Jose and
points South, West, and East?
I am considering buying an ultralight;
however, where to fly near San Jose (Ca)? The closest powered
ultralight friendly airport that I know of is Marina near Monterey.
Is there a list of UL friendly airports (or ones with conditions &
what conditions transponder/radio/license]), property owners willing
to allow flights, country roads, public lands?
Does any one know of South Bay
ultralight groups and clubs? I have done Internet searches and have
only found one UL EAA chapter (Chapter 110 ) in the San Jose area,
but three weeks later; no reply to my email.
