This is straight out from the 4000x. Just thought someone might one to know the real measured output signal voltage for future reference. Also, don't forget to use a true "RMS" voltmeter if you want a true reading. How are you determining the clipping - audibly or via an oscilliscope? It was my understanding that the XDP4K was an 8 volt unit, but I think it is actually a 4 volt out with TONS of headroom. I know the gains on my amps don't reflect an 8Volt input signal for clipping!
