--> XDP4000X-List message posted by: "leo g. divinagracia iii" <ldivinag@csuhayward.edu> folks, my xr-c900 (cassette tuner model) faceplate button, the SOURCE one is acting weird. when off, i can turn on the unit and select the last source before i turned off the unit. but subsequent presses would not allow me to select another source. instead, it is like i pressed the SOUND button. is the button screwed up? on maybe a dirty connection? i have a second c900 and i tried the faceplate on that and it does the same thing... how much would sony fix it? thanks... slightly off topic but we are all sony owners, right? ;) -- ----------------------- Leo G. I would clean the contacts where the face plate meets up with the unit itself and give that a go.....also clean the contacts on the faceplate.... hope something works! Dan
