Thanks, I appreciate it. My friend gave me a 4250 he
stripped for parts. I tried it and found they were too
different. When I put the main board from the CD section
in, the head unit wouldn't even turn on. Unfortunately
the main board in mine doesn't tell the motor to turn on
and pull in a CD. I checked the motor itself and found
that it works fine. So what I really need is the main
board from the CD section. Any idea of where to find one
(preferably for cheap)?
BTW, comparing the internal circuitry of the 880 and 4250
is interesting. The 880 is so full of circuitry, while
the 4250 is very lacking. Talk about a huge difference in
quality.

I have found two places that sell parts for Sony head
units. But I don't know what parts to order. If someone
who knows could point out the right ones, it would be very
