Take a soldern iron, tin and a piece of metal from a resistor. And it can be fixed... try it. Subject: XES going on sale
--> XDP4000X-List message posted by: Yippy234@aol.com Before I put it up for auction on ebay, I would like to post on here for sale the original XES system. Included will be the XES-P1 with the power filter, head unit display, two wireless remotes (small one and the tuning one), a modified wired remote(for a longer stretch), the XES-T1 radio tuner, The XES-X1 crossover, the XES-C1 changer, and the CDX-838 ES changer. I have manuals for the X1 C1and P1. I would like to make a note that the XES-C1 is semi-fuctional in that it will only play perfect CDs, anything slightly scratched will skip. I will include with the set-up a CDX-838 (red Xplod changer with the optical out). This newer changer has never skipped on me and even plays CDRs. Along with this set-up I will include another P1 brain which also works and an additional XES-X1 which died out on me. The addition XES-X1 could be used for spare parts I suppose. I have used this system for two years and enjoyed it immensely. I am getting a new car and do not want to put any gagets into the new one. my asking price is $550 for the lot. I will be taking pictures in the days to come.

--> XDP4000X-List message posted by: "Dick Brussee" <djpbruss@xs4all.nl> That's what I mean... It isn't a multilayer print. so it could be fixed. The connector on the other hand is a very strange one. (I wouldn't know where to get one) Just put the circuit board together and get some soldering done ! :) It doesn't look very professional, but it is possible....
