You will be forced to leave the 4000x's xover on for the woofer channel since I do not believe it can be fully disabled. The midbass channel's highpass xover can be turned off so do so and cross it over externally to match your subs lowpass xover point. It should be that simple, although I've found that even with such a high frequency as 78hz, since the xover in the 4000x is so steep all I've needed to do was a little tweaking with the peq to make levels match around that point. As far as turning the subs on and off, all you have to do is save separate xover settings, one with the subs with the level set to +/- 0db, and the other with them muted, and the selection of each saved setting will turn that channel on/off. I actually use the separate crossover settings as subwoofer attenuation in -2 db steps in my system so I can still retain some level control over my subwoofer channel from the head unit Probably not what the xover settings were meant for exactly, but works great for me. -------- Sony ES CDX-C90, XDP-4000X, XM-2000R, Phoenix Gold M44, MS2250, Infinity Beta 8-5-1 Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=39169#39169
