The screen still lights up, but the LCD display is now gone. As usual, I will be browsing ebay for another replacement, but in the mean time I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and/or if there are any solutions for fixing it? I can still use the headunit, but if the battery connection goes out, it will be difficult to reset any menu settings not to mention being unable to reprogram the radio stations. regards, John c90/xdp4k _________________________________________________________________ i'm making a difference.Make every IM count for the cause of your choice. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 11:04:03 AM PST US From: Scott Thibault Subject: Re: XDP4000X-List: RE: C90 - Display still lit, but LCD text is gone. John, My display did the same thing, with mine though the issue was in the deck not the faceplate. I know this because I have 2 faceplates. I had to send it in for a board replacement.
