Yak/Warbird Drivers,
We have a new feature available on the Yak Pilots Association website -- self
listing, free classified ads. If you have a product, service or other related
item to sell, go to the classified section of the site and follow the
directions to list your ad.

Yak/Warbird Drivers/Enthusiasts,
Our Webmaster supremo has been working overtime lately -- she has added yet
another feature to the Yak Pilots Assn. website. You now have "Chat Room"
capability on the YPA site. You can join an existing chat (if there is one in
progress) or make an appointment with a friend to meet online.
We are going to offer this feature on a trail basis to see if there is any
interest or benefit for our members.
Regards,
Mike Filucci

Subject: | Yak 52 vs. CJ Wheels |
--> Yak-List message posted by: "Jeff Linebaugh" <jefflinebaugh@earthlink.net>
I just came across a set of Yak 52 wheels in great shape. I am planning to
get them polished and swap them for mine on my CJ.
Anyone know for a fact that the Yak 52 and CJ main wheels are identical? On
visual inspection they appear identical. If someone already had the
experience with this it would just save a bunch of time with a micrometer.
I seem to remember at one of our gatherings that there was a blown tire on a
CJ and a grounded Yak 52 that loaned a wheel....
Thanks!

My Yak 52 is fitted with a Cessna 210 nose wheel. I was a straight swap. I
Know that was not the question but any information is useful.

Maybe one of the sites could be designated a site for moaning, complaining, politicising,
and criticising; and the other site for meaningful observations about
our Aircraft. Just think how much time could be saved! Uh Oh, I can see
and hear it coming! Is it too late to change my name?
